Dabble FAQ

Dabble is an online virtual pop-up showcasing limited-edition creations from some of Toronto’s very best restaurants, chefs, bakeries, cafe's and more. Think new menu items, unique flavours, DIY kits or special collabs. Every couple weeks, we will feature a new vendor who has created something unique and special, unlike anything they have offered before. This item will be available exclusively to Dabble customers.

Dabble came to fruition with the intention of adapting to these weird times. We wanted to connect Toronto’s food community once again. As we have been unable to break bread with one another at a shared table, we thought to ourselves, “How can we again have a shared food experience without our beloved restaurants?” Dabble is meant to give customers a new and exciting experience while simultaneously offering food vendors a new revenue stream and giving them access to a wider audience.

Dabble offerings come from the minds of the city’s best culinary geniuses, tailored specifically to takeout friendly offerings for these strange times. Supply is extremely limited and the creations are a one-time-only offering, unavailable anywhere else but through Dabble.

Customers will be able to pre-order that featured vendor’s offering via our website for either pick-up or Toronto delivery for that coming Friday. After receiving your purchase confirmation and choosing a delivery or pick-up time slot, all you have to do is wait in anticipation for your Dabble virtual pop-up item.

That's us! The same team behind your favourite IG account is behind Dabble Market. We've learned a lot about the Toronto food scene over the years, made some friends along the way, and now it's time to bring the good stuff to you.

For now, we can only accommodate deliveries in the Toronto area but keep your eye out, we might expand our radius one day.

Shipping rates are based on postal code and will vary in price depending on how far the location is outside of our delivery radius. For all postal codes located within the Toronto core (postal codes starting with the letter M) we offer a $5 flat rate.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of placing your order are eligible for a full refund. Please be advised that if you place an order within 24 hours of your pickup time, you will not be able to cancel your order and will be charged the full amount. If you are unable to pick up your order for unforeseen reasons, please contact dabble@tastetoronto.com so we can notify the vendor.

You are eligible to reschedule your pickup or delivery time slot within 24 hours of placing your order. Please be advised that if you place an order within 24 hours of your pickup/delivery time, you will not be able to reschedule. You may change your preference for having your product delivered or picked up within 24 hours of placing your order.

Based on the perishable nature of the products we are offering, we do not accept returns of any kind. We will not be facilitating returns, nor will the vendors we are partnered with. If you have any concerns about the product you have received, you may contact dabble@tastetoronto.com. If your offering has been compromised or damaged please attach a picture and explain why you are unsatisfied with the offering.

Both our team at Dabble and our partnered vendors want to ensure everyone is upholding all necessary physical distancing measures so we can keep everyone safe! Please arrive on time for your designated time slot. We have limited the number of people for each slot so it is imperative you arrive on time to avoid overcrowding. You must wear a mask while in line and in the shop to ensure everyone's safety. Please keep a 2-metre distance from others while waiting in line. Have your order number ready before entering the store so we can make the pickup process as fast and smooth as possible.
